Kinja'd!!!

I found this while biking yesterday. It was behind a fence on private property, otherwise I’d have taken a closer look.

Kinja'd!!!

There are some distinct features (front bumper, body line on door, and the vinyl top outline), but I’m at a loss. I have a feeling that once someone says what it is, I’m going to feel quite silly...

Close, but I can’t find a picture of one with a curved bumper like that. I think it’s def in the Dodge family...

That bumper and C pillar are really unique looking. This shouldn’t be too hard...

I don't think the bumper is right.

That was the first thought I had, it seems like a Chrysler product.

Would’ve been my guess, but the C pillar is way too thin.

I think you’re on to something. Look at this one with the vinyl roof:

Almost certainly a Torino. Mercury Cyclone and 70.5 Falcon used the same body, but I think the vinyl top detail was unique to the Torino.

Yes that’s it exactly! Why would anyone decide that not covering the whole roof in vinyl (if you are going to do that) was a good look? Man, the 70s were weird lol.

Looking at it now, I like it since it's unique. Back then, I'm not sure what I would have thought.
